Seeking Board Members

We are pleased to announce that the Joyful Scholars Board has voted to expand from a five-person board to a larger board of up to 11 directors. This is a fantastic step forward!

JSM’s board of directors are our greatest advocates in the community as they strive to support and further our mission for exceptional Montessori education. A larger board enables us to create an expanded network of donors, volunteers, ideas, and opportunities to increase our sustainability as an organization moving forward. Serving on a board is a great way to give back to your community!

We seek interested individuals with talents to share and would like to join our board and make a difference! Interested candidates should be passionate about our mission to provide families with an alternative educational pathway in the Valley. They are willing to attend monthly board meetings, and occasional school events, support fundraising initiatives, and have skills that contribute to the overall fiscal, ethical, and legal undertakings of a non-profit school. Ideally, board members have an active community presence and network and feel comfortable working as a team with the Board, staff, our school community, and the community at large.
